Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Peru, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent presence in the Android navigation app space in Peru. Weekly downloads showed a growth trend, starting at around 15.4K at the beginning of July and peaking at over 18.1K by the end of September. Active users also increased steadily, rising from approximately 789K to over 1.1M during the same period.

Google Earth experienced moderate weekly downloads, beginning at 5.5K and slightly decreasing to 5.1K by the end of the quarter. The app's active user base fluctuated but ended the quarter with a slight increase from around 94.5K to 99.5K.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at under 1K in early July and reaching 4.5K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at approximately 4.5K and peaking at 7.1K.

World Explorer 3D: Live Map showed an early surge in downloads, rising to 13.7K in its second week post-launch, before leveling off. Active users initially increased, reaching a high of 13.1K, but gradually declined to 5.7K by the quarter's end.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar demonstrated a significant spike in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads grew from 545 to 11.2K mid-quarter, before stabilizing around 1.9K. Revenue followed an upward trajectory, starting at $34 and climbing to over $630 by the end of September. Active users also saw a rise, peaking at 20.5K mid-September before settling at 15.5K.
